Kristin Huffman appeared in the Tony award, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League Awards for Best Revival of a Musical Company, playing “Sarah” as well as flute, sax and piccolo. The production was filmed and aired on PBS's Great Performances.

 

She was Miss Ohio/Runner-up Miss America and continues hosting and producing charity events. She has a career that has spanned over 20 years professionally performing with operas, theatres, symphonies around the US/Europe.

 

As professor at the University of Hartford and Western CT State she trains singer/actors for a life “on the wicked stage” and also music teachers for a life in the classroom.  She writes for the Sondheim Review and has her own theatre blogs, www.theatreringleader.blogspot.com and www.nononcentsnonprofits.com and is on the marketing committee for the United Way.

 

Kristin owns her own Internet marketing company (partnered with Microsoft and ranked #54 on Internet Retailer’s Top 500 and #1 in Most Improved Online Retail Site) and created The Powerful Image Events to help non-profits raise awareness and funds.
